I have a 2000 black/black XJR for sale if you're interested. Runs but needs cylinder head gasket replaced. Many new parts. In very decent shape. 93.5 miles.

 

is the car in San Dimas? what are the three best and worst features of the car? tensioners original? any service history? stock asteroids? brake/tire condition? all electronics work? thanks- dan

 

Hi Dan,

car's best features are: transmission, brakes and interior. Worst: cylinder head gasket on driver's side, small ding in left front fender and scratches on bumper corners. Car is in storage in Upland, CA. New tensioner is original. Also has new serpentine, supercharger belts (Gator) and new H8 EverStart battery and waterpump. Passenger's side door lock button doesn't go down simultaneously with central lock. Paint is great. Tires have ca. 65% thread left. It's all pretty decent and worth fixing, just needs lil TLC. KBB PP sale "fair" is ca. $ 6k. Selling cheap here. Not sure what you mean by "Asteroids". Cheers.

 

I do not know the car nor the seller and it is not exactly what you have specified but it sure looks nice in the photos and thought I would pass it along in that it is closer to what you are seeking than the S type R I am seeking:
