Memorabilia of Jaguar's Last Independence
A rare literature pack from Jaguar's final period of independence under Sir John Egan, before Ford's purchase. The Annual Reports are large format booklets, on glossy paper, with photos of the cars, the factory, the racing program, and the company managers (plus all the usual financial data). Complete package consists of:
1. Jaguar Annual Report 1986
2. Jaguar Annual Report 1988
3. Jaguar Interim Report 1986
4. Jaguar Interim Report 1987
5. Jaguar Interim Report 1988
6. Jaguar Interim Report 1989
7. Letter from Sir John Egan to Jaguar shareholders describing the details of the Ford offer, dated November 8, 1989.
8. “Notice of U.S. Offer to Purchase for Cash...All Shares..of Jaguar plc...by Ford Motor Company Limited”, dated November 8, 1989.
9. Bank of New York “Notice to Holders of American Depository Receipts of Jaguar plc”, dated November 8, 1989.
10. “Notice of an Extraordinary General Meeting of Jaguar PLC to Amend the Articles of Association”, together with an un-executed proxy card for this meeting.
The price for all of the above pieces of Jaguar history is $45, which includes shipping in the US. Especially appropriate if you own a Jaguar from this era.
