A couple years ago I joined this forum as I was considering buying my friends 1999 roadster with 2400 miles on it. As it turned out I did not buy the car and got a 2000 Corvette convertible. He has decided he is now serious about selling his car, so if any of you would be interested you can contact me, as he is a very private individual. If there is any interest I can go photograph the car and either post pictures or send them to individuals.
The car is bright red with a light tan leather interior and top. It is totally original, with only the fuel pump and battery being replaced, which was done recently. He would be wanting $ 27,500 for the car. The car is located in the Seattle area. He bought it in 2000 with 2400 miles on it, and it has been stored in a heated garage. The Jaguar dealer just drained the gas, put in a new fuel pump and checked out the car.
Here is my post from when I was considering the car. At that time he decided he could just not sell it then.

IMHO he's dreaming at that price, storing a 99XK8 has not done it any favors and has not resulted in an astronomical price. These cars need to be driven, it's still a 19 year old car that is does not have classic status. Everything rubber will need to be replaced as well as the timing chain tensanors. 99 had some issues with the ECU also.
While a very low mileage car should bring a premium I think you will find to knowledgable Jaguar folks that's not the case.

I paid retail NADA value for my 07 S type w/9700 on it a couple years back. 25k last week and I think most of the added $$ for miles is gone by now. If you keep the miles <10 on the XK, the extra value should remain otherwise it'd drop off very quickly.
And I just looked up NADA prices-$7000-9500 trade/retail. I think it'd bring 15k on BAT-worth a try anyway.
