New S3 power antenna
I bought a new DAC-4090 antenna, it came from Welsh Enterprises. Their invoice cost was $223.90 USD. It is an aftermarket antenna being sold as a direct Series 3 replacement. Check their catalog for the specs on this antenna and the price.
It will not fit into the 1972 S1 XJ as a replacement for the OEM S3 antenna. The S1 tunnel for the antenna mast is smaller in a S1 than a S3. This antenna has a larger OD mast than the OEM antenna.
But, it will fit a S3 just fine. It was never hooked up electrically, I just attempted to fit the mast end into the tail light hole. Buy it now and save MONEY... I will take $150.00 and pay the shipping.
