I travel frequently and so my beloved Jag has been driven only a meager 1,000 miles this year! The car is kept in a temperature-controlled garage in NYC which costs me more than some people's new car lease payments, so it would be more cost effective for me sell my Vanden Plas and just take taxis everywhere (NY living is ridiculous!)

The limo-black tint job is excellent and looks like it was factory done (according to the previous owner it was purchased new with the tint, dealer installed) and I had a suede roofliner installed for a two-tone ultra-lux look by the best shop that I could find - there was a bright-yellow Ferrari getting a roof-job next to my Jag - I snapped a photo of the two cars in the roofliner-shop which I can gladly dig up and email to any potential buyers

The car has been impeccably restored to perfect mechanical condition and impressively-beautiful aesthetic appearance (plus it has a brand new battery and all 4 tires are near-new.) Mileage is something like 115k (+/- 2k.)

For those unfamiliar with an '02 VDP, it is a 2-ton 17-foot-long limousine that is faster than a base-model Porsche Boxter, as safe as a Volvo, more elegant & luxurious than a Rolls Royce and gets 22mpg (approaching the gas-mileage of some luxury-hybrids). A VDP takes a fully-loaded XJ8 and adds 5-inches of length, real-wood everywhere, chrome+wood tray tables, rugs that are inch-thick mohair (or something furry ) and special "ultralux" leather to every surface imaginable (even the parts of the chair-backs and grab-handles above the doors) - Jag's top of the line interior and adds chrome all around the outside.
