Parting out 99 xjr, 97 xj6-l , 98 xj8 vdp
Hi, i'm parting out my remaining jags and reluctantly returning to bmw. Thought i'd offer parts here, cheaply for anyone who needs things.
The first car is a 99 xjr. I finished parting it out last week but have most parts. It was black on black and the front seats had issues so they are no more. i have all body parts including the xjr specific stuff in good condition. the paint is thin on some panels but ask specifics and i'll answer. The secondary timing chain on the car broke and bent some valves, thats why it was parted.
the second car is a 97 xj6-l. Black over tan and in good overall condition. The car was meticulously maintained until my (now) ex drove the car Fourteen thousand miles over on an oil change and in the process created a noise in the lower timing chain. The car is still complete and driveable but it needs a timing chain which is more of a job than i want to get into. It has 129k on it and other than the one time over on an oil change has been 100% kept up to date on any and all services.
The third car is a 98 xj8 vdp and its not much left. the bumpers are there, champagne in color and i have the vanden plas rims in excellent condition. Most of the suspension is still there and the abs computer and thats pretty much it.
if you have any questions, feel free to email me at mekanikmanATgmailDOTcom or call me at (803) NINE TWO FOUR ONE 5 NINE SIX
I can email or text pictures of any part to you.
thanks,
alex armfield
