This XJ8 is a lovely car but I
have a new 81 Fiat that is getting all of my attention.
It is in excellent condition with no engine troubles and
has only ever ran premium fuel. The interior is
beautiful and feels brand new. It has under
29k miles. $15,000 (flexible just message me what you think is reasonable.) Will send more pictures, if
requested, via email or text.
Would be interested in trade. Please do not kelly blue book the value and contact me saying the car is worth $3,000.
this same car with 8k miles just sold for $25k in NY exotic show and cars that are not as nice with more than double original miles are going for anywhere from $8k to $12k.

Through an odd turn of events I am now in possession of a 2001 XJ8 Jag. Her name is Emma, and she is lovely. Less than 29,000 miles, the paint is great, the leather is wonderful-ish. The previous owner (for reasons of which I am unaware) thought it a good idea to wear spray tan and sit on the driver seat... on multiple occasions. which lead me to looking into fixing it, which in turn made my look into fixing other aspects. Long story short, I may have a problem (the kinds you go to meetings for) and not enough money to fuel it. Never-the-less, as I'm sure many of you can attest, as you begin to fix up your Jaguars you search on line and will, inevitably on several occasions, stumble upon this site. And stumble on this site I did. You all have such great insights and a great community and I look foreword to being a part of it.
ah well i only turn her over every now and again make sure she runs and i dont take her out in rain and i keep her covered. so i have around 29.2k miles on her. but correct i dont drive her often... is this a problem??
I just reread your description and noticed you now have a 1981 Fiat. I bought one new for my wife in 81. That was the first year of the fuel injected 2.0 124 sport spiders. Red with beige leather interior. A fun car to drive, blew off a bunch of Porsche 924's back in Ft. Lauderdale FL.. She now has a 99 XJ8L...really big change. Bought it in 2004 for our 36th wedding anniversary. 50th coming up in March.
