As per the title Guys, My car is a 2004 and I'm trying to source the bluetooth interface for my install.
This is the bluetooth part that goes or is usually located under the Center console armrest.
Any points in the right direction welcome I've tried a few breakers with no joy thus far ...... So HELP![Smile](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Well I have the PSE and the harness and I'm looking for the bluetooth interface and it looks like I may be looking for an arial too
this ***** ache is gonna get worse i know it is lol
Now .... The VIN numbers??? I ain't got them for the PSE, are the needed? I thought this was gonna be plug and play:/ I'm guessing I'm gonna need a dealer to programme it?
If so can they do this without the VIN numbers?

It should Plug&Play as long as you get matching PSE and interface.
My XK8 has factory Bluetooth fitted and it's OK but I wouldn't have considered a retrofit. The big problem with OE Jagaur Bluetooth is the limited number of compatible phones and that you can only have one paired at a time.
My last XK8 didn't have Jaguar BT and I fitted Parrot which paired to both of my phones and synced with whichever one I happened to be using.

I've now got the phone module (correct one with the correct numbers as quoted in this thread), I have the correct harness (more than 5 wires actually 8 I think), I also have the bluetooth interface module or BTUM (small black box with a cable trailing off that connects to the harness).
I've connected it to the harness and then the harness to the connections under the rear bench seat and onto the phone module in the boot and bolted the earth, I've also connected the boot link lead in the boot to the phone module (it's the only thing in the boot on the link lead circuit) all looks fine however the head unit still displays no phone as before installation.
Any ideas or advice? Am I missing something?
Car is a 2004 2.0d sport with digital heater and CD player in dash (two small screen) and obviously has the phone controlls on the head unit.
Thanks in advance

Let's try a quick fix here before taking this to the X-Type forum.
Have you put it into Discovery Mode? The sequence for this is entering code ##1#*# followed by pressing the telephone handset symbol key.

I've just installed a jaguar Satnav system and my bluetooth is now working except I do not have a roof mic and on looking inside my roof light console I can not see where to connect one to, do I need a different roof light console too?
If so has anyone got one for sale?
