Just so you know jaguar says you have to buy the whole thing on the later xk's....wrong. Ive changed many a mast.
you can buy a mast and take off the trim tower around the antenna, undo the 14mm retaining nut and pull it out. The feed the new mast in after you turnoff the radio and it retracts. Tighten the retainer nut back down, spray the trim tower with wd40 and twist and push to reseat. You done and saved more that $300...there now dont you feel better

Where would I find the mast alone? Also how do I remove he exterior trim cap? Is that held on by the 14mm or does it snap or thread on?
I may just replace the whole thing depending on what price i can find one at.
If anybody has the part number, that would be great too.
Thank you for the helpful response!

Yes that mast is correct and the cover pops off with some very carefull but forcefull prying with with a plastic trim tool, or something that wont damage the paint or piece. The 14mm nut holds the ant mast down and in the motor
