I have a transmission that I pulled from a wrecked 2000 XJ8 that I bought a 3 years ago.
The car had 50,000 miles on it. I have the carfax to back up the 50,000 mile history.
The fluid is perfectly clear and the original torque convertor is still in place.
I kept the trans around just in case I needed it for my 1999 XJ8 but since I traded the car I no longer have a use for the transmission.
I'm located in Melbourne, Florida about 70 miles south of Daytona. Since this thing is pretty heavy it will need to be picked up.
I'm asking $500 but am flexible within reason.
Best to call me at 248-943-5928
Thanks, Ken Wolkens

Thanks Ken, tranny works great, was a lot of fun swapping it out at my friends school shop, the tailshaft swapped over with no issues. When he starts transmission class we will be peforming an autopsy to see what failed.
I dont think its the a drum since mine was the later model serial with the updated a drum from factory, I leaning towards the axial bearing and subsequent o-ring failure in the drum. Pretty commendable since the car had 156,000 miles and the original untouched unserviced tranny, fluid was pitch black, I bought it with 155k and hadnt even gotten around to doing the fluid change.
Will certainly try to repair my old one and keep in the shed as a spare, nice meeting you as well, cheers, Jesus.
