**official** intake elbow group buy thread
#21
The dyno runs will done will all elbows.
The biggest difference better better and best is the properties of the coating as far as heat absorption deflection. There was an unexpected gain in power with just a naked elbow so a coated one should bring more of the beast out. Also in the works is a coated primary intake tube(the one that's on top of the blower.
For my diagnosis I was cursed with swab up my nose. A couple banana bags, steroids, 3 injections and a heavy dose of tamiflu

I was able to meet up with Mafioso tonight and I picked up the "Better" and "Best" intakes for photos. I get to keep the "Best" model. These look awesome. You can tell they are made of quality material... anyways.. check out the pics since that's what so many want to see!
BEST intake:
Texture/Coating Inside:
Texture/Coating Oustide:
BETTER intake:
Texture/Coating Inside:
Texture/Coating Outside:
Clears the shroud, no trimming! Plenty of room:
Install Tips:
I found it easier to install the rubber couplers on the airbox and upper intake tube first, then slip the intake pipe in between them. Be crafty with the positioning of the clamps... you don't want the screws poking into your hood! I may go back later and snip the end off of one of the screws on the clamp near the upper intake tube. It sticks out a bit more than I'd like. Also, be cautious not to tear or break any of the rubber coolant pipes running just below the intake.
