Front Splash Guards

Front Splash Guards
Given that I've only had the car a few weeks now I'm trying to figure out where to find various bits to fix up some of the (so far) niggling issues it has. I'm attaching a photo of the front splash guard, it is the same on both sides of the car, it's obviously come astray, but I cannot see anything behind it where clips might attach to the bumper. I've also been unable to find anywhere online to buy the clips.
Obviously I'd like to get this fixed as it's quite wet outside being winter and I would prefer not to get too much more road muck in there!!
I'd appreciate any advice

Most likely you have broken off the "Areo-Tabs". These are small air dams located in front of the front tires on the wheel well liner. They are destroyed when you curb the front of the car. Thankfully I have front park sensors and can avoid that but apparently the first owner did not!! They are very common and almost all cars now have them. Take a look in a parking lot sometime. They are for air flow management and try to keep air from building up in front of the rolling tire.
Get the car up on ramps. You fender well cover is slightly out of place. Hopefully your tabs broke off below the mounting screws but sometimes they break above them. If the plastic wheel well liner is broken above these attaching screws you either buy a new liner or live with it.
I was going to replace both of mine but they are about $90-$100 each and that was a bit much for plastic!! Don't even try to find them used. Almost all cars will have this broken.
You might be missing or have more broken stuff so try to get it up where you can look at it.

Take a look at my post below - this is what you need to get the wheel well (splash guard) reattached to the bumper cover.

Thanks tbird6, I'm guessing you are talking about these things? (This picture the passenger side, but drivers side is just the same) They seem OK on both sides at the front, it's just the clips for the splashguards seem to be missing completely

The search function works pretty well on the forums, it just helps to know what terms to search for in the first place!!!
