Default Help with what this is

Finished my center console project and when I backed the car out of garage from off ramps this was laying under the car. And now when I took it for test drive the front passenger side was acting up. Is this a bushing of some kind and if so where would it come from? Going to jack car up tomorrow and take a look. It could be something from a pipe sealer I use but thought I better ask just in case. Thanks.

Weird for a bushing as it looks more like it screws into something. Some type of damper maybe?

An idea of its size may help.

Took it with a macro lens so looks large. It's about 1 1/2 to 2 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inch high. Thanks.

It looks like a device that I used to blow out the water lines to my swimming pool when I close it for the winter.
