Once in a lifetime Opportunity - XE launch in London WINNER ANNOUNCED
EDITED......
We have finally been given clearance to give a slightly better picture of what's on offer. Please see below.
This will be an all expenses paid trip to London from, on or around the 6th Sept to the 10th Sept approx inclusive, to the World premiere of the Jaguar XE launch.
A dedicated Jaguar / Spark44 employee will be with you to facilitate the experience throughout.

To be considered for this, there are certain criteria that must be met, as below:
1. S-Type owner
2. age range 35-45 years (a little flexibility here for the right candidate)
3. resident in the USA
4. social media user
5. hold a valid passport
Expectations are as follows:
1. create thread documenting the whole experience and impressions on jaguarforums.com
2. share experience on social media channels whilst at event.
3. consider participating in future XE events held in North America
Please check the above and reply to this post if you can say YES to all of the above to be considered for the short list a.s.a.p
Please note - we can only advise Jaguar of possible candidates for this event. The final selection process will include the 5 points requested as well as forum posts count etc and is totally outside our control.
Good luck to all.
Graham

I qualify on points 1 and 5 only. Oh well.
Can we try to guess what this is all about? The Stig needs a body double for a Top Gear/Jaguar special?

Rick - they say wisdom comes with age. Unfortunately this opportunity doesn't.
You wish!
I apologise but am not free to comment at this time. You'll just have to wait and see. But do you fit the age range?
Can't I even trust a Scotsman?
Be sure to check its service history!
Me too but I also fail on 1, 3 and 4.
Under 35 - I've got wrenches older than that.
Two who can say YES to all criteria so far. Do not miss out on this opportunity - get your name in as quickly as possible.

I'm guessing that the chosen Yank will be flown to the UK to serve as the fourth jackstand while jagV8's STR undergoes a ZF pan/sleeve/fluid change. The catch is that he has to blog about it while he's underneath the car. The entire ordeal will be filmed by the BBC for later broadcast....
