Spacers Part II
#3
Looks great but you may want to be careful.
I had a similar setup, not with spacers with with wheel offset on my 500sl. Well long story short I turned into my driveway a bit aggressively with the wheel cut and the tire hit the driveway apron and put the tire into the top of the fender, and mangled the fender a bit. I rolled it back as best I could with a baseball bat, but it still cracked the paint a bit.
Just make sure everything clears.
Take care,
George

I wouldn't space out a lowered car, especially without rolling the fenders.
Michael:
I did this on my e36 M3. Be really careful not to crack the paint. Slow and steady wins the race on that one, AND use a LOT of heat. The heat gun is your friend. The more gentle passes you make, the less chance of hurting the paint you will have.
I'd be interested to see what an S-Type with the fenders rolled looks like.

I'm assuming this is the tool that does the rolling of the fenders...

Looking real good Michael....
I added 20mm wheel spacers to my A6 recently when I went from 17's to 19" alloys, although I opted for "HUBCENTRIC" as I've heard too many horror stories about non hubcentric styles where the load is all on the bolts which can cause wheel wobble.
Anyhow, as I said, looking good and glad you're pleased with them

I am going to try them. As I said before my STR is running H&R lowering springs, and the fenders are not rolled (these are just for the front to even out the reveal) I went with
20mm 5x108-5x108 63.3mm Hubcentric male-female so there will not be any issues, I know that the wheels are lug centric, but for the sake of a few bucks I went Hubcentric.
My BMW M6 is hubcentric. Shipped to the house $130. Paul
