good luck is right
That is the same picture you will get everywhere. That is a 3.0 V6 set up. NOT the 4.0 V8.
The V8 uses 1 13mm bolt and 1 13mm bolt and nut combination.
The upper bolt is a huge pain in the *** to get out. I am on this forum looking for an easier way.
The only quick for sure way I know how to remove that starter is to support the engine from below, remove the 15mm nut from the right engine mount, raise the engine to allow removal of the right engine mount and using a long extension with a 13mm universal socket to remove the upper bolt.
If any one knows a faster way please share, I would love to be able to make money on these jobs.
