Now there's a blast from the past- I hired April Wine for a Friday night gig in St. Bruno in 1974. I'm sure he remembers it like it was yesterday.

Hope he joins up!

We also had Mashmakhan, Michel Pagliaro, Guess Who and BTO before they hit the big time and became unaffordable. Came 'that close' to getting 10CC but fame intervened. Offenbach with Gerry Boulet used to be one of the most popular. Caline de Blues!

Those were the days........................

FYI... Breen Labouf(sp) from Offenbach is now the Bass player with April Wine.

If Myles joins the forum I will be surprised. He doesn't contribute to the April Wine fan message board, Brian Greenway is the moderator and band member, he says that "Myles has no interest in computers at all"
Maybe he will be a lurker here or just not identify himself. I hope he does join us.
AW is one of my fav bands. It has been two years since they have played Dallas. I hope there is another show in the near future.

If money were no object I would have an XKR convertible and an A6 Avant.

I`ve been through the same pain as you did when I had an A4. Car was awesome though. I`m looking at a 2009 model (V8 only baby)...

He sends me about five emails a day with questions and is thrilled with the car. Very nice guy and has a young girlfriend who takes care of the computer stuff for him. Nice lady - Kim.

Ummmm... Sorry, Mr Trivia here... There is no RS4 for 2009. There was a 09 S4, with the 3.0 supercharged engine... Now the S4 from 05 to 08 was a V8 with 339hp..and for 07 and 08 there was a RS4 in North America with 414hp V8. The RS4 (like I previously stated) is a real bad @ss car. It is basically an S4 that is hand built by a division of Audi called "quattro GmbH".... Think Mercedes "AMG" or BMW M division...

Please, let us know what you get....

I bet, when my R was just in the shop, the rental company gave me a compass for the week. Im going to be nice when i say this about that compass. I hated every minute of it, its lack of power, and its plastic garbage interior. You must be in pure hell and i sympathise.

Keep us posted on the car search! I'm always looking myself as I have quite a car fetish, but (I can't believe I'm saying this) I am really enjoying my reliable (and payment free) STR!

LOL. I`ve had over 50 cars in my life (many mistakes in that lot - BMWs especially) and for the first time I am going to take my time. Find the right beast...

You should get another supercharged Jaguar V8. Think about it for a minute. All that knowledge you've accumulated over the past few years. And You already have a solid source for solutions and modifications right here. So go ahead and buy another Jag...you know you wanna...
