Default 02 Vacuum Problem

I have an 02 Jag s-type and where i live lets just say that not many mechanics will touch the thing. (there is only 1 person that might is qualified with in a 50 mile radius) So i have an vacuum leak and i didnt have to run any codes. I know this because the hose above the evap service port is melted in 2. i have been crawling all over the engine looking for the other half. Can someone help me by telling me where this hose is run 2. A diagram would be extremely helpful.

You need to list what motor you have. Here is a link to an 05 3.0 Stype vacuum line diagram. Not sure if the 02 3.0 is different any and thats if you even have a 3.0.

Anyways in my color coded pic that vance850 posted above which color vacuum hose in the picture are you talking about?

Gotcha good info. Now that we know what engine Tennessee has he should be in good hands. We will call it Rickstate instead of All-state.
