Yes the real key was 35 codes. That just does not happen after turning the car off.
So we are guessing about the battery but it is a good guess!
Second red warning flag. Thottle bodies just don't give that much trouble and you have already changed it out once before? This points to a different problem.
I would stop messing around with the X-type parts. Many S Types on EBay for parts.

I returned the X-type TB and got a S-type TB for 03 Jaguar after VIN 45xxx which does make a difference. Now I hope with this TB works, I'll swop it out tonight or first thing in the morning, this is my last attempt to do anything on the car. It's the only thing I can think of, with the shop saying the TB is stuck at a 9 degree not 7 degree and I notice the RPM's are higher with that one on makes me believe it's the problem. Again won't know till I try, thanks again to everyone's help and thoughts.

Last night I installed the S-type TB and no change. On a limb I ran to Autozone, they let me borrow the OBD-II scanner, I know it doesn't read Jaguar codes but simple codes. After hooking the scanner up it read no link, so now I believe there's something wrong in the fuse box. Any suggestions? Thanks

Any OBDII scanner should read your P-Codes. But for C (chassis) codes and others you need more specialised equipment. If it wouldn't recognize your car, I'd unplug/replug and cycle key off/on...std electrical glitch stuff. Maybe that was their "loaner" model and it doesn't work for anyone, hence it's "the loaner?" There are a variety of capable OBD II scanners/software available that you can have for <$30. None will help you with any codes other than powertrain (P) codes but you should have one nonetheless. If you are in restricted-performance mode, there should be one or more P codes...
To determine what is causing your DSC/ABS not available, I think you need spend about $500 on AutoEnginuity w/Jag module or take it to someone who has that or WDS/IDS.

I unplugged, recycled key and watched the scanner try to scan or connect with the car but no luck. At the shop it did show a code for the rear left wheel speed sensor so that makes me wonder if that could be the root of this whole thing. I washed around tires, inside the tires to get ride of brake dust and drove home fine. It was the fact it sat overnight and in the morning all the problems were there, this is so frustrating coming from someone that can replace timing chains, water pumps, carbs, etc. I mean give me a 69' Chevelle SS 396 or Pontiac GTO not even running and I am confident that I can get it up and running. Don't get me wrong we love the car when it's on the road and running but the stress of it. Maybe my friends at the garage will lend me their snap-on scanner for a bite I know it can't get into the Jaguar codes but maybe something.

I may be wrong, but I don't think a wheel-speed sensor will put you in restricted performance mode - only give you info-ctr indications of DSC and ABS not available (maybe kills your cruise-control?) I *think* (when I say "think" I mean "speculate" or "guess" if you will) that restricted performance mode would have one or more P-codes associated.
Don't get stressed - I guess you wouldn't tackle the Chevelle without at least an adjustable wrench and/or screwdriver? OBD II and higher-order scanners that can pull your chassis codes are just tools - albeit ones that make it hard to whip up a workaround from commonly available shop-supplies and materials. The "work-around" is ornerous and can get expensive - you can methodically step through all the possible causes (listed in the tech man) of the dash-indicators you are getting and insure each is correct (may have to throw parts at it - sensors and such that run into big $$) and that all the associated wiring is intact....but it's probably quite a bit easier and less time consuming to get the codes read and printed. Keep us posted on what you find, Good Luck!

Okay we finally decided to take it to Jaguar deal for the repairs and glad we did. I coasted at limp mode speed early in the morning to drop it off on Friday, later in the day we got a call back with the news. They found a wire problem somewhere coming from the right front tire across the bumper around the driver tire wheel well and across the firewall. Worse case was going to be $1400 best was $450, just got the call yesterday its all fixed for $1250. They fixed the wire, a vacuum leak, replaced a screw for my MAF. So happy to have it fixed, they also gave us a free rental while it was getting fixed. I know now to not be so scared to take it to them again. Thanks again to everyone and there helpful suggestions even though we all didn't get it fixed lol. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years!!!!!!
