I will be installing them this Saturday if my son-in-law and I don't get too hammered on Friday night. We're gonna team on this one as he and my daughter will be here for a 3 day visit. I told my daughter that if they get divorced I'm keeping him. She always laughs - I'm never quite sure whether I'm serious or not. Hmmm...
Now they are wanting $330? WTF?

so im a bit confused, are you guys not changing the shocks when your putting on the H&R lowering springs? i was thinking about putting some bilstein shocks at the same time.? is this not a good idea?

If you use Bilstien shocks you would be switching to a convention suspension from the CATS eletrontic system. It can be done, whether or not is better has not been determined yet. I have yet to lower mine just beacuse i dont want my CATS shocks to fail and end up paying almost 300 for each of them.

What i plan to do eventually is do an aftermarket shock (not electronic) with lowering springs, turn off the CATS system, and save the stock shocks in case i ever sell the car. I wonder how the ride will change? Probably feel a little less bouncy than an e39 m5.

if so what do you think?

thanks
