04-s-type coolant leak

My '04 S 3.0L is leaking coolant where the small, approx. 3/8" hose, connects to the plastic nipple on top of the reservoir. Can't tell for sure, but I think the plastic nipple may have a slight crack. I took the hose off and inspected it...looks good, no chafing or cracking...looks like new. Has anyone had the nipple crack at the tank?? There has not been any work around this area..it just started leaking.
Also, if the tank has to be replaced..is it available on the aftermarket, or is only a dealer serviceable part?
Thanks.

They covered mine but it didn't stop the leaking. After bringing it back 5 times for the same leak I finally gave up. They even replaced the hose and it still leaks. I told them instead of pressure testing it just let the car warm up and then you will see. It was usually leaking by the time I got home from having it fixed. Of course this is the dealer that I used to go to that were really bad.

Select edition does cover the expansion tank. Do not let the dealer try to charge you diag. Select will pay it all. Diag and replacement of the tank. Common problem on all 03 and up S-Type and 04 XJ.

They said yah, we probably should of just done that. It really didn't leak any amount but it always had fresh coolant around the hose and fitting and some running around the rim of the expansion tank. It seems to have gone away after I had the water pump, thermostat and another leaky hose fixed by another dealer. Maybe the extreme pressure buildup from the faulty thermostat caused it, I don't know.
