well, ive had my s type for about 5 months now, and when its running i LOVE it. but its given me alot of problems so far. ive had a starting problem, where it doesnt seem like its getting gas, and i have to pump the pedal to get it to catch some gas and then itll keep running as long as i have pressure on the accellerator, because it dies when idling sometimes as well. ive burnt 2 starters out trying to start the car at times when it was acting up, and im sick of just hoping it will start today. ive checked all the fuses, as well as the fuel pump relay, and the intertia switch. ive read that it could be a bad electrical connection, because the lights do dim when trying to crank, but i was thinking it could be from the alternator not getting a chance to charge the battery. i have found some fuel pumps online i can buy, and have researched how to replace it by going under the passenger side back seat, but i dont want to replace anything i dont have to. its honestly frustrating, because im paying my car note and insurance, and it hasnt started in 2 weeks. please help!
