Red face 140,000 mls /jaguar s type r [maintenance]

Hi i was curious to what type of things i should take care of on my s type r....i got a nice checklist in the process of being done

replacing all rear control arms [bushings getting bad]..i have most of the stuff found a source for lower arms new for the R...at $320 a piece...hardest part was finding these things at a fair price smh....just need two lower arms and the tie links i have the upper arms

im gonna replace the air intake wit the one the "mafioso" guy makes, as well as change the ignition coils n plugs all in 1...pretty much a tune up and some extra check all fluids n so so...

im still wondering about the tranny fluid and the supercharger fluid...that ive heard about.....kinda ifffy on those two things

other than these things i cant think of anything to check!!!

Angry

the car hesitates sometimes when i hit the gas real hard as if i were going to race someone.....it just bucks for a lil bit then gets back into action....the code says knock sensor....but i was told to try a new intake first and tune up and see if that helps before i go and remove the supercharger to get to the sensors....i was told something else could be throwing the sensors off...might not be the sensors themselves...it has a misfire code....but i did notice there is some black kinda tape around the intake like there was a leak or something im betting that is something im getting that restricted performance on the dash its been this way for a while and is annoying i only get the good horsepower 50 percent of the time!!

Used intakes will be all over the junk yards. I'd get one.
