Hi, My fuel gauge has been placing up. One moment it half full, semi full, just shows empty or reading correctly. Seems intermitent and chnage each time I turn the key on. Being a 1999 model the diagnostic means shown in the technical bulletins(s310 etc) relate to later models. My OBD test instrument shows no fault codes. Where should I start to look? No engine codes have come up and the car is running fine otherwise and no other instrument problems. Appreciate any guidance.

 

OBD is about emissions so you'd be incredibly optimistic to expect fuel gauges codes!!

The sensor is in the tank so may need taking apart.
