Thank you jagv8,
but I meant without the diagnosis instrument, only with ignition key position like as an example Chrysler.

Any data you could get that way is almost useless. Just buy an elm327 they're only about $20 on ebay.

Would you trust it not to be showing old ones?
And no freeze frame or live data.
Which does it show... where is it getting them from? Wanna bet on them?
All to save $20. You're kidding, right?!

AutoEnginuity is very cheap compared to the dealer tool (IDS), which will be thousands of dollars.
Plenty, including SPX, will sell IDS.

Ask AE or read their web site.
Are you HONESTLY prepared to spend say $3000 because if so surely you can search and find where to buy it.
Please read the other data on this site and the web. I'm done.

Ummm....You said it in the quote above..... AE is just an abbreviation for AutoEnginuity......

Are you really a paid mechanic? You won't spend a few hundred dollars on a tool for properly diagnosing someone's car???

Yikes!

thank you JOsworth,
now I have understood, sorry but I live in Italy and I do not know the english language very well.
I am home mechanic, therefore I was trying a diagnosis instrument not too much expensive but that it can cover the greatest park car.
