are the 03 and the 2000 stypes interiors interchangeable?

 

Some interior parts probably will interchange while some parts probably will not. Body style changes usually mean that some interior parts are revised as well (especially in the doors and roofline), and there are a number of differences between the 2000 and 2003 models....

Probably a screw or two is interchangeable, perhaps even the sun visors and a few miscellaneous parts. But the interior of my '01 3.0 base (similar to your '00) is remarkably different than my '03 3.0 base. The speedo/gauge display appears similar, as do trim panels, but almost everything else on these cars - from seats to center console to steering wheel controls - is different. They even ride and handle differently.

Download and install the JPEC - it's in the Forum stickies - then do as others here have said and look up each component you're hoping to interchange. If the parts are different for VIN M45254 and above, JPEC will show the variations.

Even the speedos are different, though they look similar, as the M45255+ cars have CAN.

i didnt think so but i had to ask. i keep trying to find a seat for a 2000 with airbag in almond for my stype.. i had one, thought it was good.. then when the seat arrived it had a huge tear, yet the description was "a" quality.. i found a centerconsole i think, just not in the perfect color. its a huge pain.. especially when the colors are either "tan" or "beige"
