2000-2002 Original Jaguar S-type 50-page US Dealer Sales Brochure

I bought my first of 3 S-types in April of 2001 and it looked EXACTLY like the one in this Original US Dealership 50 page Sales Brochure (plus 2-page 2001 colour swatch insert) I was so impressed with the design and performance of the car (a 2001 Sapphire blue 3.0 Liter S-type Sport that I wrote British Motors of San Francisco a check for $54,452.47 an hour later and drove it home. My intention was just to put my eyes on the metal, but I knew I had to have it. I told the dealer that I just bought my last car, perfectly content to drive this one car for the rest of my life (which is saying a lot because I have a soft spot for automotive toys).
Drove that 2001 3.0L S-type Sport for 25k miles before it and I were wiped out by a drunk driver. Then I bought a used 2000 4.0L Twin Blue S-type which drove that for 17 years then traded it for even money on a 12-year old 2008 Porcelain / Champagne Special Edition Final 300 Satin 3.0 Liter S-type a few months ago in November of 2019 - which barring any further accidents, I'm hoping will be my last car....unless I win the lottery and spring for a new Supercharged XJL. For now, I'm perfectly content with my S-type.
Anyway, I though some of you may enjoy seeing this expanded 50-page pre-facelift S-type dealer sales brochure with all the specs and options laid out in detail with some nice photographs of the car.
This is my first attempt at an attachment so I hope it works. If there's long term interest in it, maybe someone can move the file somewhere permanent. I use my dropbox for biz. so I can promise it'll be loaded there forever. Enjoy!
OK, Upload failed TWICE for an unknown reason. Here's a Dropbox LINK to the PDF file. I'll try to preserve it as long as there's interest.

That's a great story nersveen. That was also quite an amount of money in 2001 (would have been twice that amount here in this heavily taxed country known as Australia) but well spent on a fine car. You chose a great colour combo as well.
In this early brochure they have really shown off the lovely exterior design of the car in the tropical location settings. They've also placed the very gifted Ian Callum's mug shot in the back as well although he had nothing to do with the original design of the car. It was the superb effort of the late and equally as talented Geoff Lawson (and his team) who died suddenly hence Ian's appointment. Callum would have been responsible for the later x202 I think but certainly the x204 update.
I have never seen that US brochure; it's a very well produced item. You may or may not know that Jaguar in all their insane wisdom have decided to do away with sales brochures, a pathetic attempt at saving money really. Sir William would be turning in his grave.
You have a very nice final run car

Some time back (er, years ago) I posted links / content of various brochures. Most are / were too big to post due to forum size limits.
Such as JLM/61/02/06/08 (40pp, incl 2.7D)
And http://pa.motorwebs.com/jaguar/brochures/s.pdf from 2007.
Some are now in the internet archive e.g.
https://web.archive.org/web/20120916...Epdf305646.pdf
I'm sur there are plenty more but it's a pain finding them...
