Sounds like the "window lock" button is pushed.

(2000 Jaguar S-Type 3.0) Well I put a new window swich in the drivers door but no luck. Does module in the driver's door control the childs window lock button? Would there be a fuse for childs window lock button? If so where would the fuse be? Thanks

FIX FOR THIS ISSUE :

I had the same problem with my 2000 S type
all Windows went up and down from the drivers panel but all the other window switches didnt work.
Replaced the drivers switch thinking the child lock button is faulty and the windows switches on the passenger and rear doors still didn't work

I got my voltmeter out and found that the child look switch was working.- voltage going to the drivers door module
I then checked the rear module in the boot and the the positive power output that comes out and goes to all the switches was dead
( pin number : CA102.5 ( yellow wire )) i guessing a module fault
I hot wired this wire directly to the battery and all the windows switches work now.

Tomorrow im going join the Yellow wire to CA1013-13 ( Orange black wire ) ( no1 fuse in the rear ) switched power input for the rear module ( used for the boot lock and also for the windows )
all the window motors have there own fused power supply so there shouldn't be any worry about current draw.

Hope this helps someone in the future

Hi Craig,

I have exactly the same problem as you had and I wanted to ask if it has really solved your issue on the long run?

Cheers, Robert

Oh, it sounds great My car is just at the mechanic's garage with another issue and I'll ask them to look at it.
Where exactly can they find this rear module? Or do they need to do this operation that you described below at the rear module or at the fuse box:

"Im going join the Yellow wire to CA1013-13 ( Orange black wire ) ( no1 fuse in the rear ) switched power input for the rear module ( used for the boot lock and also for the windows )"
