Default 2000 jaguar s-type 4.0 leaks oil around plugs

At 50,300 miles I decided to change my coils and plugs. I wanted to check for leaks around the plugs.and I found oil around some plugs was a little heavy.
My question is are the seals around the plugs made from rubber or something else.Has anybody changed these or added any sealers to cure the problem be four I start getting misfire problems.

You need to replace the cam cover gaskets and also replace the upper plastic chain tensioners whille youre in there since youve done more than half the labor, and when these break youll need a new engine or valves at the least. There are tons of threads here about all this so read on

My question was , are the seals made from rubber? And I don,t hear any chain sounds yet so I didn't plan on the seals yet and need the car so I didn't buy the seals . The engine was running fine and the leaks are not causing problems so I added "White Shepherd stop oil leak " which has a good reputation for working on rubber seals without damaging them. I' m 65 years old and my body wasn't thrilled with working on the car but the cost to have a Jaguar person work on it was was not in the budget. Good thing I bought an air ratchet. I'll go back in there later if I this doesn't work.

Default Inner or outer bolts

Thanks Brutal for the heip!
When I was changing the coils and plugs I think I saw inner bolts . I'm not sure about my shot term memory. If these bolts are inside the coil cover , are these the ones you are talking about torque tightining down. And what is the torque on these bolts inside and outside.
Thanks again
Chuck

That White Shepherd Oil Leak stuff seems to have stopped the leaks. The boots on the coils are dry on the passenger's side. I'll check the other side when I get the 1/4 inch by 14 Inch extention that I ordered to help with the back lower screw on that cover. Wobble attachment helps with the tight spot near the master break cylinder .
