I'm trying to install a aftermarket double din stereo into my 2000 Jaguar S-Type 4.0 V8. I've got the head unit, the harness, but I couldn't find the mounting kit anywhere! I wonder if you can install a aftermarket head unit without buying/fabricating a custom mounting kit?

When I pulled the factory stereo out, there's 5 total harness that connects to the unit. 2 long, 2 small and 1 medium. I figured that the 2 long ones are for the speakers and audio. But what are the rest of those harness are for?

If any of you had experiences with the installation of a aftermarket stereo on a 2000 Jaguar S-Type, please help me out a little, thank you.
