What is the correct way to remove the switch assembly/box?
The new one has 2 lock tabs on the top and 2 on the bottom.
Looks like the box is just pushed into the dash panel until the locks engage.
Can it be removed from the front of the dash? or do you have to do it from behind?

It was quite straight forward.
2 screws, and 2 tension clips near the bottom of the small panel it mounts in.
The housing must have been from a bad batch of housings, because the locking tangs broke right off, practically disintegrated. My guess bad polymer mix.
Anyway, the new one popped right in.
Total time to change ~10-15 min.
