2000 s-type window regulator question????
#2
The earlier S-Types (1999 to 2002) seem to share more parts with the Lincoln LS than the 2003-and-newer S-Types do. There's a guy here on the forum with the screen name Tbird6 who should be able to answer your question. He owns an S-Type as well as an LS. Hopefully he'll read this post and chime in with your answer.

2000 S-Type Window Regulator
Thanks Gus. Your pictures helped me replace my right rear window regulator myself and save about $400 vs. having a shop do it. It was $142 for the part including tax and shipping. It probably took me about an hour end-to-end including a search for the duct tape that my kids had used all up (packing tape works fine). It's a little different than doing the front door that you show but close enough. The only challenge was the little plastic pins that hold the window onto the regulator. I managed to tap them out with a punch and not break the window.

An alternate is not available but rebuilding what you have may be another option see if this helps.
