I'm having issues with my tranny no codes or warning messages was stored for winter. Ran good for 3-5 miles then just lost power still running starts fine gear shifts can feel it go into gear and moves slightly forward or in reverse but wheels don't moves like it's in neutral, had issues with it last summer slipping into neutral twice but just stopped put in park and then back in drive and it was fine.any insight would be helpful thank you! Make it a great day

Start with the shifter cable first I think. May be stretched, may adjust.

+1 on checking shifter cable.

Does the gearbox have any external leaks? If so, it may be low on fluid.

The Ford-supplied 5R55N gearbox uses Mercon V fluid, which is readily available. Given the age of the vehicle, it may be best to drain, replace the pan gasket and filter and refill with fresh fluid.

That is what I thought also, thank you for the insight will let you know if that is the case.... Too cold to deal with it had a bit of a heat wave in MN. On Sat. So took it out for a joy ride only to push it back in garage. Praying it's not the tranny!
