I am unable to get my fog lights to operate. I need to locate fuse to check if this is the problem. I would like to view the 2001 S Type 3.0 fuse diagrams.
Any help, including other solutions will be appreciated.

 

Don, you need to look at a few things to verify you don't have a wiring issue. First, you will need to check fuse #3 in the front distribution box. THis provides power to both the fog lights themselves and the relay. Next, swap relay #7 in the front distribution box with a similar relay. Do the lights work now? If yes, then your relay is bad and you need a new relay.

Finally, remove the relay that is installed in the #7 spot. If you look on the relay, you will see where the terminals of the relay are numbered 1 through 5. I want you to locate terminals 3 and 5 and then relate those to the holes inside the distribution box where the relay was. Using a short piece of wire (preferably solid core wire, 16 gauge or bigger), short terminals 3 and 5 together. Do the fog lights come on now? If no, then you either have a wiring problem or 2 burned out bulbs. if you think you have a wiring problem, let me know and I will tell you how to take a few measurements with a multimeter to prove what is good and find your problem.
