2001 S Type, N/S Widow is dead
A double whammy. First a kind hearted drunk broke my wing mirror, I know you should not park a smart car outside a pub, but sometimes your mind is elsewhere. Whilst trying to find a replacement mirror with the correct number of wires, the window, wide open on a sunny day refused to close. The mirror now replaced and working perfectly, the window on the other hand is secured with heavy duty duck tape, not a pretty sight. Can someone help me sort this out? At first glance it seems the wire has snapped in half, part of which is wrapped around the motor.

Chris,
The window regulator is easy to fix.. There are some picture directions here:

The regulators (cheap plastic things break really easily especially when the car has been in lots of temperature changes.) It took me couple of hours, because I put the bolts in a wrong hole...LOL! After I got it in the right hole, it went in really easily.
The replacement part is pretty inexpensive too. It's the same as the Lincoln LS.
