2002 Jaguar S-Type 4.0 V8
Hello everyone, I am looking to see if anyone knows or has a S-type that they are parting out... I am looking for a front bumper clip
Also if anyone could send me a link to fix these following problems:
1) Lifter Tick when first starting up (I Think)
2) Traction Control Light blinks continuously ALL THE TIME
3) Anything performance.. Nothing too extreme
Also....
Can I get my dash reprogrammed to show me the kilometers on it without replacing the whole thing?

Welcome to the forum AJS57,
I've moved your question from Canada Region to S-Type forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.
Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Check Craigslist in your area. Plenty of donors to get a front clip from.
Get familiar with the search function within this forum. Also, get a good OBD scanner (plenty of posts about which ones to get). These cars have seemingly common ailments, shared by many of us here.
Welcome aboard!!!

Since you have the 4.0 litre engine, the 'lifter tick' on starting may be from the timing chain. Unless you have the vehicle's service history and can determine if the work has already been done, it is very important that you remove one of the cam covers to see if the secondary timing tensioner has been uprated to the metal-bodied version.
If the secondary timing chain tensioner fails, catastrophic engine damage is the result.
