George, I already ordered one myself from Amazon, but I chose the free shipping option, so it's gonna take a while to come (5 to 8 business days). In the mean time, I'm gonna take it to Autozone to figure out the codes. I might meet up with Vance580 cuz he ordered 1 as well
Def shoot it to Autozone get us the codes, and if Vance can live scan the car that would be great.
Take care,
George

Went to Autozone and got 6 codes:
P1000
P1313
P0300
P0503
P0303
P0301
My gas tank was almost empty (less than 1/8th full) and the guy at autozone told me that could be why some of the codes were showing up. I went and filled up my car with premium gas and the check engine light was still on. Don't know how much of a factor that really is, but just brought it up since the guy at autozone did.

Are you sure about that P0503? That's not coming up in the Jag DTC database for the 2003 S-Type.
Looks like you were misfiring on 2 cylinders, at least momentarily. Fill the car with premium, and drive it around for a bit, see how it feels or if you get restricted performance again.
You may need those coils after all. But it also may have been you sucking crap through the bottom of the tank.
Take care,
George

I just wrote down all the codes the guy said and got a print out of them. I can scan them all and upload them over here so y'all can see what the possibilities are. The guy at autozone did mention things related to the cylinders and mainly about my fuel. I haven't been getting restricted performance, but just the check engine light though sometimes there's a rattling noise, it was also there before Rick had fixed my car the first time.
Vance, I got your pm, I'll give you a call tonight or tomorrow and we'll find a good time to meet up. And yes, I did get new coils this past weekend.

We are very close. I live just south of Joel. We talked and we are gonna get together once I get my scanner. I just ordered it last week and its a little delayed cause of the Presidents day holiday but should have it in the next few days.
