Default 2003 4.2 liter v8

i need a resourse for valve cover gaskets spark plug tube seals and bolt grommets. I understand that this is a Ford v8 if this is the case can i source these parts though ford. Ihave two cylanders that are leaking oil in the spark plugs and both coils are failing as a result any help would be appreciated.

It's not a Ford V8. It's a Jaguar V8 hardly ever used by Ford even in its 4.0 form. But if you can get 'em from Ford for the 4.2 they may well be OK.

As already stated it's not a Ford engine at all. Try this: find the part numbers for the parts you want on a 1999-2002 S-type Jag 4.0L engine. Compare it to the part numbers on a 2003 S-type Jag 4.2L engine. If they're the same, go to a Lincoln dealer and ask for the parts for a Lincoln LS 3.9L engine.

Better yet, support one of the forum vendors.

Don't waste you time, get real Jaguar gaskets, etc. Shop around for better prices if you'd like.

Sure, get ripped off by Jag dealer!
