2003 S Type 3.0 6 cylinder Restricted Preformance
the car crank perfectly , but it takes 30min for it to warm , while warming up the restrictive engine performance light comes on , after it warms up it runs like a champion , but the last couple of days it begain to make strange sounding noises like it having problem moving into the gare , i was told that it sound if i had a transmission problem , can anyone help me

Welcome aboard, Catherine.
by "get the codes read" the guys mean you can swing by your local auto parts retailer and most will be happy to hook up to the OBDII port above the driver's knee and read the powertrain diagnostics. Then they'll tell you what is wrong, which may or may not be correct. Important point for you is to get them to print out the actual code numbers (or write them down from the screen) and come back here to post them. It will be an alpha-numeric code starting with "P" - P0171 for example.
This information will open the floodgates of forum help to you...
