2003 S-type navigation
I just picked up a 2003 Jaguar S-Type and it has just the regular radio with a cd. I noticed that a navigation unit was offered that year mine just didn't get that option. If I were to pick up a used one would it be an easy thing to change out? Would all the plugs be the same and would all the AC controls all still work the same? Does anyone have the 03 with navigation and is it worth it? I would also like to add a backup camera and wanted to know if it would go through that screen?

I would stay away from all the factory nav stuff. Way outdated. I have it in my 2005 STR and I sure did not buy the car for that feature!!
You are lucky to have the standard non-nav system. You now can install a great aftermarket double DIN front end with all the goodies! TV, Backup camera, BT, NFC, Sat Radio, GOOD nav, car PC, dash cam and all the rest.
You will be MUCH happier and I bet it will be a bunch cheaper too!
I have seen some great installs.
