If you are not logged in it will show post ads. Once you are logged in they go away. Its one of the perks of being a member you dont have to go through the ad posts to read the info. I've seen alot of forums set up like this. I go to this site from a few different computers so I noticed it too.

Bob I also have had it with IE on my home computers. I switched to Firefox a few months ago and I'm pretty happy with it. I tried Google Chrome for a little bit but it seemed short on tools, or I didn't know how to use it, or I was hammered on the nog too...
Either way, Firefox is very similar to IE and it doesn't lock up every other minute and I don't have Flash crashing constantly. And its free. I'd recommend you try it if you haven't already. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ie.html

Egg Nog my **** ...
It happened again and I know I should get a screens shot of it so you know I'm not seeing things but what it does is copy the date & time from you post leaves out the poster iD and then just plops the add in there as though it's a post.
Next time I promise I wont wait to finish the egg nog before I snap a screen shot ...
I wonder if the website operator doesn't know a thing about it and Google gets all the advertising revenue? How many people use Google Chrome as a browser?

Sorry, this is really OT
I have IE 7 under XP. I tried 8 and had to roll it back. It was truly awful. At this point something has happened to IE with the latest updates because it's unusable on mine and my wife's machine simultaneously. So I just installed firefox on my wife's machine and I'm trying Google Chrome. Immediately all my issues ceased. So I think it may be a broken registry entry or something. It's time to rebuild the computers I suppose. It's just such an enormous chore that I've been avoiding it. I have a legacy application that won't fresh-install but it can be moved with one of those conversion programs but I'd like to finally get around that. This time I'd like to start with a virgin registry.
From what I've heard Windows 7 will require a much faster cpu and even more GD memory so maybe I'll stick with XP as long as I can. Any thoughts?
Maybe you guys should respond off-line as this ain't exactly Jag related.
