Default 2003 STR Upgrades

Just ordered a new exhaust and intake upgrade for my 2003 S Type R. Am I going to need to do anything after they are installed?

If the exhaust reduces the back pressure (potentially a bad idea on modern cars), hunt for a tuner.

You may overall get a few HP gain.

What is the reason for replacing the exhaust system?

If you are installing a 'cold air intake', read the threads on this subject.

Do your changes comply with local emissions laws for the jurisdiction where the vehicle is operated?

Both exhaust and intake are for a little bit of an increase in performance. There are no emissions laws in my jurisdiction, but if there were I would be well within the limit.

Not sure yet. Brother is taking it in Wednesday to do baseline before the parts arrive. I would do it myself, but I am currently not stateside...

If you do dyno before and after you would be doing this list a great favor!

The gains seem to be small but who knows?
