2003 v6 not able to pull fuel trims

Check OBD status - it's probably not running CL (closed loop).
If OL (open loop) it doesn't know trims but is trying to get values right. Will actually run rich because it dare not run lean (destroys engines).
Also check status of each OBD monitor and for (actual & pending) codes as you could do with data to help you.

The one giveaway was when my son was helping me put new power steering fluid some spilled over the maf sensor. The car soon started accelerating very slow. The new maf.sensor helped the car run normally again but the trims still cannot be read. Still work to do after all. Noticing the voltage is in the 12.7 range also.
