2005 jaguar s-type vdp 4.2l v8 misfire & knock sensor codes
Hi I have the following codes p0300 p0301 p0303 p0305 p0327 p1316
I've changed all the plugs & changed the front three ignition coils on the passenger side.
I want to confirm that those three coils correspond with cylinders 1, 3 & 5...
and code p0327 says knock sensor 1 circuit low input bank 1...which side is bank 1 and where is the knock sensor located?

As old as the car is now I would really suggest 8 new plugs and 8 new coils. All at once. They are maintenence items and the car is over 8 years old at this point.
Did you find any oil in the spark plug wells?
Have you erased the codes and see what comes back?
The knock sensors are bolted to the heads. Without the supercharger they are much easier to get too! Hold off on changing them until you get the mis-fires fixed.

No oil in the spark plug wells...I previously changed the coils for cylinders 1 & 3 about 2 years ago...I find it strange that cylinders 1 & 3 threw misfire codes again this time...
I cleared the codes today...only drove it once so far & my engine light has not come back on as of yet but the computer has not gone through all of its system checks yet...
I will wait to see if my engine light comes back on...but are the knock sensors bolted to the heads on the front , on the rear, or on top of the motor...will I need to remove the intake manifold to get to it...and is bank 1 passenger or driver side?

So... bank 1 is RHS in same sense you have LHD car. (Same rule for here but we have RHD cars.)
Other things can cause codes as knock-on effects but you need working knock sensors whatever happens.
Fix the KS, drive and check P1000 changes to P1111 (usually takes 2 warm-ups and varied driving), or other codes flag. Post back if problems

Just an update...after clearing the computer the misfire codes have not come back...The engine light briefly came back on & the code was p0327 knock sensor...but the next morning the engine light was back off & has not returned...it took 3 weeks of driving for all the readiness monitors to complete & my car has successfully passed inspection!
