Hi,
I have a 2005 S-Type and the driver side muffler needs replacing. I can't find any aftermarket options - does anyone know what will fit?
I'm not looking for a growling, high performance muffler or sound - just something close to the original.

Call some independent muffler shops in your area and ask them what type of generic alternatives they offer for your car. That should give you a pretty good idea of what your choices and costs may be....

 

Jon89, thanks. I'm in Canada and the local guys don't always have access to the full range of parts available in the US through their distributors (though I can have US parts shipped to me). I've called a couple of local muffler shops and only been given OEM muffler options for $800, including labor.

 

MagnaFlow mufflers are great for sound, flow and look... On my old Nissan I have #14805
