Default 2005 S-type electrical different than 2004

I know it sounds like bull but I have reviewed the 2004 diagram for the wiper system and it does not match my 2005 actual vehicle. The 2004 diagram show a park relay and a high low relay R15 and R16 in the front fuse box, my car has only a R16, the R15 space is not even wired (looking down into it). I have looked and looked for a 2005 technical manual, they don't seem to be available for owners. Anyway this all goes back to my other posts not being able to get my wipers to park properly.. replaced the motor did nothing. I am at a point where I can't do more since I don't have the information. Can anyone give me a little help ?? Thanks.

PS, I was a mechanic many years ago before high tech took over. LOL

Well the free JTIS only goes to 2004 for the S Type. You might have to use the Jaguar Topix system and pay for access. We know some of the changes made after 2004 but I think you have stumbled onto another difference.

In the states, you are a year behind. Production ceased in 2007, but that is a 2008 for you.

There was an interior facelift in 2003, or 2004 for you, then a revised outer facelift in 2004, or 2005 for you. It's possible that the wiring changed too, but you have the last facelift version I'd say.

Yours is a 2005, which is a 2004 to us, so should be the last version unbless it's an early 2004. you will know as the rear lights are completely different to the earlier versions as is the front bumper. Got a pic?

Newer workshop manuals are on ebay (as huge PDF) cheaply.

Yep, I bought a JTIS disk several years ago, it only covered up to 2004. At the time I was told Jag would no longer have manuals on disk and only be available for online use to dealers. What I was told...

I ordered an "updated" service cd. Hopefully it will match my 2005, should arrive Friday. I did find an electrical diagram for engine fuse box with 2007 relay locations. Still haven't resolved wiper not parking problem. Such fun...lol
