Default 2005 s type R

I have had my s type for 4 years now. Just this past week I have encountered a strange problem. When I return the to vehicle after being shut off for a minimum if 30 minutes, the interior blower fan is blowing at high speed. when I turn the key to the first position or all the way on it turns off. I read on a post from 2009 this may be a "feature" not a problem. My only true concern is whether this will drain my battery. Can anyone help? Thanks

I have a 2005 STR and have never seen it but you are correct that it has been posted before and does appear to be normal.

The only thing I would say is:

Do you have any other electrical things that are different from what you think they should be?

How old is the battery?

So I would watch it to see if it's a problem. Not sure I buy the explanation of why it's running but it's pretty rare so we don't have much to go on?

Thanks for the response. The battery is about 2 years old. I guess no matter what the cause is it surely is using/draining the battery. That's my biggest concern so right now I disconnect and connect that battery whenever I will be away from the car more than 30 minutes. Such an inconvenience but a dead battery is a bigger one.

Check the fluid level in the battery first. It may not be too far gone.
