2005 S-Type R
This might just be impossible to find. At least I'm not having much luck and neither is my mechanic and I definitely want to beat him before he marks the bitch up. I desperately need an oil pan. I've been told that my jag being super charged, has an oil pan unique to that model. The standard S-Type oil pan will not fit. That's all well and good but I just think, and I could be wrong, that there has to be one or more somewhere out there. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd be ever so grateful. I haven't babied the hell out of this car to hit 300,000 miles and have to scrap it over an oil pan I refuse to let that happen. Runs too good and still get compliments just about daily. HELP!!

Hope you picked up the sump pan? Looks like the part may have more applications than just the STR your mechanic suggested.
What happened to your original?
I was doing a job on mine that required the engine to be lifted up a few inches. I don't have an engine lifter so I jacked the engine up from below.
Was not a good idea however for me to grab the first bit of timber I could find; a very thick but small block of pine. Also was not a good idea I did not position it properly across the sump.
Of course the thick pine block cracked on the grain line. Luckily didn't fall out of the jack otherwise I'd be replacing the plastic inner oil scoop.
Bent the sump pan a bit though. Thankfully straightened out very nicely and it's a hard enough metal sump!
I decided to do the job properly the second time. Have since cut out a piece of 1 and a 1/4" plywood, slightly larger but closely matching the the whole sump's pattern. Oh I also include a 3mm bit of sheet steel between the plywood and the jack now as well! Moral of the story? Use very thick plywood!
Impressed you're at 300 thousand miles! Car must get a lot of love.

In my younger days I was involved with several engines swaps into cars that required modified sump pans, or in some cases sump pans that were just fitted to the high-performance cars in the range and cost a fortune.
One example that springs to mind is the 2.8i V6 into a Ford Cortina Mk2 1600E.
We would just cut and weld the sump pans, so they were the right shape, keeping the outer edge the same so it fitted the engine.
It was not that difficult.
Perhaps if you get such for an STR sump pan a repair of the original may be possible?

Are you sure the STR takes a different pan? Here is the JEPC listing which does show different part numbers based on the VIN but it's just a sheet metal pan and as far as I can tell all 4.2L engines used the same one?
Should be a number of them on EBay too?
Main what a record! 300K miles!!!
