It's hard to say. I have the Mina rear boxes on my 2005 STR and it was so little change from stock and the price was so sky high I don't think it was worth it.

Now I did start it up without the mufflers and I would not drive it that way. If I wanted a Mustang with glass packs I would have bought a Mustang with glass packs.

And I love Mustangs!

Of course this is easy to try. They use a built in clamp for the rear mufflers and you can take them off in just a few minutes. So remove both of them and go for a drive. Maybe it's what your looking for?

Remember that a louder car seems like a faster car.

.thanks a lot sounds like a positive note. I'll definitely go that route. Your the first to tell me that mufflers changed very little from stock. I really wondered about that!

I have just had my rear boxes deleted and replaced with much smaller straight thru ones , and used new63mm tips.. total cost was $160 .. a much better deeper rumble sound , not too harsh when in S and revving , hardly any drone and at idle its quietish.. but at least you know there is something serious under the bonnet
Now my jag has some bark and growl to go with its bite...
