Hi all,
New to the forum.
I have a '05 s-type 3.0 that overheated and it needed the upper (6-inch) radiator hose replaced.
Tried starting the vehicle and it won't turn over. I fear the dreaded head gasket but could it possibly be something else?
Any help is appreciated.

It sounds to be seized or hydroliced ! Try to turn the engine backwards with a socket and bar on the crank pully bolt.
if it turns backwards then remove manifolds and spark plugs to See if infact coolant is in the cylenders . If it is then the head and or gaskit has failed !
Ether way it sounds like it needs to come apart because blown gaskit or seized are both worst case scenarios .
